Project Story

World Resource Institute is advancing environmental issues by addressing needs on several different fronts. These include sustaining forests, mitigating water issues, creating value in the business community through environmental sustainability, ensuring clean, reliable energy, supporting agriculture through sustainable development.  As well, WRI focuses on the importance of our oceans. Our oceans are home to half the worlds species, adds $2.5 trillion each year to the global economy, feeds 3 billion people, and importantly, produces half the planet’s oxygen and absorbs a quarter of all carbon dioxide emissions. Addressing these important global issues is their mission. Check out their amazing work at  http://www.wri.org or join our Community Room to connect with other like minded people. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
