Project Story
Challenged Athletes Foundation works across the country to provide adaptive sports equipment for people with disabilities. CAF provides grants, camps, clinics, community involvement, education and additional resources to those that need equipment to follow their athletic dreams. Additionally, they assist first responders and veterans with equipment to continue a full and active life. Books for Africa's goal is to supply books to help children receive access to an education and to opportunities. Educational access helps end the cycle of poverty and create a better quality of life than previous generations. Because of economic crises, poverty, war, malnutrition and lack of educational resources 40% of school age children in Africa do not attend school and 46 million have never set foot in a classroom.
