Project Story

Save the Elephants is saving this beautiful animal from extinction. Desired mostly in the East as a status symbol and as an investment, the ivory from elephants is a high value item. Organized crime and traffickers smuggle tusks for profit. It is estimated that one elephant is killed every 15 minutes. Utilizing technology, Saving the Elephants is monitoring, collecting data, conducting vital research, providing protection and helping to create international policy for this vital fight.
